Intelligent decision support systems in complex networks and e-health scenarios,
InDeComHealthNET
My research line, entitled Intelligent decision support systems in complex networks and e-health scenarios (InDeComHealthNet), focuses on applying computational intelligence techniques for solving complex real-world network based applications under uncertainty,
In real world decision-making, such as public security, e-health or recommender systems, there is a large body of data from various networked heterogeneous information sources or individuals that often conflict with each other and provide inconsistent knowledge. Consequently it is a challenging task to yield an optimal decision, given the range of individual decisions obtained in terms of these knowledge sources.
I am interested in creating novel mathematical and computational framework for trust based social choice in networks with uncertain knowledge by merging multiple individuals’ information and preferences in an adaptive manner to seek a decision, provide trust-worthy personalized recommendations while recognizing and isolating malicious users.
My research line has two main objectives:
- Developments of trust based social network and its application in recommender systems and decision making. (Currently I am IP of the EU Project DeciTrustNET)
- E-health development
- Healthy aging
- Low Vision Support
